Teach Ray my A/V Switch

If your A/V switch brand is not listed, or there isn’t a compatible code set, you can teach Ray your remote’s commands.

1. Begin by selecting "Teach Ray my A/V switch."

2. Ray will need your original A/V switch remote to learn the power and input buttons. Tap the "Continue" button to proceed.

3. Point your original remote at Ray and press the power button to teach Ray. The illustration shows how you should position Ray and your original remote. To minimize interference, avoid placing the remotes on top of a glass table and keep them out of fluorescent lighting.

If you do not have a power button, tap "I don't have a power button" to skip this step.

4. If Ray is unable to read the button, try switching off any fluorescent lights and move away from glass tables, as they can interfere. Tap "Try again" when you're ready.

5. When Ray successfully learns the button, a confirmation screen will appear to show that Ray is saving the learned button.

6. Next Ray will want to learn the input buttons from your A/V switch remote. Point your original remote at Ray and press the first input button.

Teach Ray only the inputs that exist on your A/V switch. Skip any buttons that do not correspond with the buttons on your A/V switch remote.

7. When Ray successfully learns the button, a confirmation screen will appear to show that Ray is saving the learned button.

Repeat steps 6 and 7 for any remaining input buttons.

8. Tap the "Continue" button to finish setting up your A/V switch. For more help, continue with Step 9 on this article: Connecting with Your A/V Switch
