How do I access Netflix, Pandora or other streaming services?

If you have an Internet-connected “smart” TV, Roku, or Blu-Ray player with integrated streaming content services like Netflix, Pandora, and Amazon Video, Ray lets you access all those features too. Here's how:

Note The streaming button you add to Ray must also exist on your original remote.

1. To begin, tap the Add button (+) at the bottom of the home screen.

2. This screen will display apps currently on your home screen and apps you can add to it. Select the app you would like to add to your home screen.

To add Netflix or Amazon video, please proceed with step 3.

To add Pandora, skip to step 8.

3. Ray will ask you to what device you use to watch Netflix or Amazon Video. Tap the device to continue.

You can also teach Ray your streaming app button. You will need your original remote. For some additional directions, see Teach Ray a Home Screen Shortcut

4. Tap the button and look up at your TV screen to see if Netflix or Amazon Video appear.

5. If you see Netflix or Amazon Video, tap the "Yes" button to continue and proceed to step 7.

If not, try it one more time. Check that there are no obstructions (furniture, etc.) between Ray and your device that might block the infrared signals. If you are unable to see Netflix or Amazon Video, proceed to step 6.

6. Your Netflix or Amazon Video button has now been successfully added. Tap the "All done" button to exit.

7. To restart the process, tap the "Go back and try again" button.

You can also teach Ray your streaming app button. You will need your original remote. For some additional directions, see Teach Ray a Home Screen Shortcut.
