How to Control Power or Input of Individual Devices

Sometimes when you power on your devices or select something to watch, Ray's signal gets obstructed and doesn't reach a device, putting Ray and your devices out of sync. Ray may also go out of sync if someone uses a different remote control or the device itself powers off automatically after a period of inactivity.

Ray's Power Panel is designed to help you quickly resync and get back to watching TV:

To open the Power Panel, tap the "lightning bolt" icon on the left side of Ray's bottom navigation bar.

The Power Panel gives you individual power control over each of your devices.

The ones that you see displayed are those devices you need for the current task you are doing. If you want access to any other devices, tap the "All Devices..." link.

If a device did not power on or off correctly:

Tapping on the device name reveals the power buttons for you to fix the issue. Point Ray towards the device making sure there are no obstructions, and tap the button.

If your TV did not switch to the correct input:

Tap on "TV" to reveal the power and input buttons. Point Ray in the direction of your TV and tap on the input button to set to the input for your current task.

If your audio device did not switch to the correct input:

Tap on your audio device to reveal the power and input buttons. Point Ray in the direction of your audio device and tap the input button to set to the input for your current task.

If you find you're frequently (or always) having to correct your devices' power or input individually, it may help to never power a device off.
